In
the 137-year-old grocer’s shop there are the
ragrances
of freshlyground coffee, pickled fish,
Danish
salami, cordage and camomile soap. You
can
buy local specialities, and you can experience
what
shopping over the counter was like before
the
world started suffering from stress.
Exhibition
The coast, the scenery, and trading with neignburing
people make up the themes of the
summer’s exhibition
about
life at the coast, before harbours were built.
Ancient
monuments
The
ca. 4000-year-old dolmen “Tornbydyssen” – the
northernmost
dolmen in Denmark – is to be found about 300
meters
to the south of the grocer’s. |
